The Adventures of Dodo: Vertical Sailing Part II
Four years after the Vertical Sailing expedition to Greenland, the venerable 79-year-old Reverend Captain Bob Shepton calls back to his ship for a new mission of responsibility, “The Wild Bunch” - Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll, Benjamin Ditto, Olivier and Nico Favrez. Aboard the Dodo's Delight (a 10-meter sailboat), the team battles the trials of Arctic ice, polar bears and harsh storms in search of the “Holy Grail” - previously unclimbed rock formations and musical enlightenment. After some very seductive big walls and tunes in Greenland, on Baffin Island they find huge untouched rocks that bring them true delight and musical inspiration, lifting the band to unknown heights.
An inseparable climbing and music tandem, Nico Favrez and Sean Villanueva are coming to Bulgaria to be special guests at the 12th Challenge Days, where they will tell us more about their latest adventures, and why not play us some of the tunes inspired by this incredible journey.
