A film with unique footage of backcountry skiing, showing the strength, freedom and steadfastness of human nature.

'From The Road' is the story of one skier's personal adventure seen through the lens of redemption and triumph. Incorporating the unique personal perspective of former ski guide Eric Henderson, the film unfolds adventures in Alaska based on skiing as a way to push human limits. Participants in the film include a large number of ski athletes from a variety of styles and disciplines, and the locations are titanic peaks in the heart of the Chugach Mountains.

'From The Road' features unique footage of backcountry skiing, human strength, freedom and determination. In fact, the film and its participants have a great drive to do something truly challenging to give Henderson another shot at conquering Meteorite Peak, where in 2009 he broke his neck and ended his pro guild career. Interestingly, this peak is traditionally closed to heli-skiing, but in the film the skiers climb it alone.
