In cinema, there are famous stage couples who sometimes cross over into life. In climbing, Robin Earbsfield and Didier Rabutu, whose son is currently smashing podiums, are world famous. Most romantic and beautiful, it seems, is the relationship of former sport climbing champions Arnaud Petit and Stephanie Bode. On 5 December, in the final 3 hours of the 19th edition of the Days, we will meet the poetry of climbing and mountaineering, and our special guest Bertrand Delapierre, France, will introduce us to the adventure.
These two short documentaries present two emblematic episodes of their - Stephanie and Arnaud's - wanderings through the rocky cliffs of the Alps, Patagonia, El Cap and Trango. First is one of the most difficult big wall routes in the Alps on Mt. Grand Capucen, free traverse, with a passage of 8b. And then there's the pure poetry, written with inspiration by Stephanie, that gives the film its very name, I Asked the Rock for the Moon, in which, against the backdrop of climbing La Pedreza and the iconic 8a Octogenesis Corsica, Stephanie gives her take on life, and all that touching granite and rock has given her.

Philosophy and revelation of a truly deep and sensitive soul, the analogy with the poems of Lyudmil Yankov and his "Granite Water" comes naturally... A true source of inspiration are these two tapes, which will be our poetic transition to the classic tape "Into The Mind".
And a recommendation for lovers of quality reads. Stephanie Beaudet, in addition to being a climber, already has the recognition of a storyteller and an elevated writer, which encourages us that together with Antoine Menestrel there is someone to create art stepping on the invisible grips of the rock or degrees in the vertical.
