Following the donation meeting held at the end of last year during the Days of Challenges festival, it is now official: "Magazine "The Wall" is pleased to announce the launch of the "1% for Bulgarian Nature" campaign, a charitable donation initiative that aims to draw public attention to the conservation of Bulgaria's natural wealth through financial support for projects with this focus. We are starting with the hope that this campaign will remain sustainable over the years, because we believe that in order for humanity to continue to exist, the protection of nature is an indispensable and paramount commitment. In this, every citizen's participation is important, and business has a decisive role to play.
In 2025, we will support the efforts of four organizations whose activities we follow and admire. Throughout 2025, we will donate 1% of our revenue to specific projects—winter mountain activities, water management, conservation of protected areas, and endangered birds. Here they are:
Winter: Supporting the winter mountain activities of the Bulgarian Association for Freestyle and Extreme Skiing (BEFSA)
During the winter season, Stenata stores will support the activities of the Bulgarian Association for Freestyle and Extreme Skiing (BAFES). The funds will be directed towards initiatives that promote safe movement in the winter mountains, protection of the mountain environment, and a responsible attitude towards nature when practicing winter sports.
Let's turn winter into a season of caring for the mountains and contribute to the collective creation of lasting habits for the safe practice of outdoor activities in snowy conditions – especially among young people and amateurs.

Spring: The return of the Egyptian vulture with the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB)
The Egyptian vulture – one of the most endangered species in Bulgaria – deserves a chance to return.
As we know, vultures play a vital role in the health and balance of the environment by feeding on dead organic matter—a serious disease-causing pollutant.
With the help of the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB), with whom we worked in 2023 to reintroduce the lark, the imperial eagle, and the peregrine falcon in Sakar, this year we will support a project that cares for the survival and restoration of the population of this majestic bird—the Egyptian vulture.

Summer: Let's conserve water resources with the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation (BBF)
Water is the source of life and is critically important for Bulgaria's sustainable future.
With the support of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation, we will focus our efforts on preserving the country's water resources, highlighting the problems associated with water scarcity, and creating models for responsible use.
This cause is in line with the declaration of 2025 as the Year of Water. Bulgaria's clean rivers, lakes, and springs are important to us!

Autumn: For more protected areas with the Association of Parks in Bulgaria (APB)
Bulgaria is home to an extremely diverse natural environment, but protected areas still represent only a small portion of its territory as a result of numerous factors, including unhealthy investor interests and flawed institutions.
Together with the Association of Parks in Bulgaria, we will fight for the expansion of these territories and effective legal support for this process, as well as for creating understanding so that they become a refuge for flora and fauna and a guarantor of quality of life in Bulgaria.
