„Golden Pikes - The Oscars in mountaineering" is the translated and expanded for Bulgaria edition of "Piolets d'or" - an exciting retrospective of the most beautiful, difficult and embodying the spirit of modern mountaineering climbs in the mountains of the world, from 1991 to today. We will read breathtaking stories of overcoming what were considered impossible icefalls, walls, alpine ledges and summits reached in the Himalayas, Karakoram, Pamir, the Alps, Alaska, Greenland, Yosemite and Patagonia, stories of survival and of overcoming the fear lurking in the hearts of even the bravest.
