During the 18th “Days of Challenges” will be held the awarding of the best huts and shelters in Bulgaria, selected by voting of the huts.360mag.bg.
In addition to the winners in all eight categories, the winning projects in the funding programmes of the Hut of the Year campaign will be announced during the awards ceremony. A conference on “How to make Bulgarian huts and shelters better” will be held for all hut and shelter owners.
The competition “Chalet of the Year” aims to draw public attention to the potential of nature tourism in Bulgaria as the main guidelines are to promote the beautiful mountain bases and to motivate owners and operators of sites in the mountains to improve their tourism product.
During the campaign between 15 May and 15 November, keen mountaineers had the opportunity to choose their favourites in the following nominated categories:

Best hut with car/lift access
Best managed shelter
Best non-managed shelte
Hut with the best cuisine
Cleanest hut
Hut with the most sustainable eco practices
Hut restart
