Morning at the foot of the Balkan Mountains....
The Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation (BFB) tells with a film about the Balkan and its people, through whose stories we can find out if it is possible to profit in a Natura 2000 area and help nature, and how this is accepted by society. Is it possible to calculate how much nature conservation is worth? Can we calculate how much it costs to bring back the rare Bulgarian breeds? And how are conservationists born?
In the film “For the Balkan and the People” we will walk together the path of pure and delicious food from the old mountain meadows and pastures to our table. A film by Mono Collective and the project “For the Balkan and the People” shot in the summer of 2015 in the Central and Western Balkan region in several Natura 2000 areas, small farms and family businesses with the financial support of the Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation Programme.
Coming up on the second day of the festival (2nd December) as part of the daily programme.
