At the end of 2015 and the beginning of this year four Bulgarian mountaineers - Martin Marovski, Viktor Varoshkin, Grigor Vatev and Ruslan Vakrilov spent two months in the Patagonian Andes with the aim of climbing some of the most iconic peaks in the world of technical mountaineering. After a month-long struggle with bad weather, within the last month of the expedition the Bulgarian climbers managed to make the first Bulgarian ascents of Mt. Poinsett and the pearl in the crown of the Andes - Mt. Sero Torre. In addition to these two ascents, Martin Marovski and Viktor Varoshkin also led a premiere Bulgarian route on the vertical face of the El Mocho needle, an achievement that found international recognition.
Martin, Victor, Grishata and Rus will tell live through a photo presentation about their expedition and what it is like to climb the Patagonian peaks in a constant race against the capricious weather and unpredictable wind.
