Part surf film, part conservation film, Never Town takes us to some of Australia's wildest and most beautiful southern coastlines, from the dusty outback to the deep forests of Victoria and Tasmania. We meet the people fighting to keep them wild and unspoilt - local surfers Dave Rastovich, Dan Ross, Belinda Beggs and Heath Josk. Never Town reveals to us what these divine places mean to local communities and what they are prepared to do to preserve them. Never Town is an impassioned plea for the preservation of native lands from the increasing pressures of urbanization and industrial resource exploitation by big business.
Apart from the breathtaking footage, we can't help but be impressed by the brilliant soundtrack, with music by Bad Dreems, Midnight Oil, Yirrnga Yunupingu and Ziggy Alberts
