Photo contest “Feeling the mountain - challenge yourself”

Challenge Days 2015 and Photopavilion are organizing a photo contest dedicated to experiences in the mountains. 

What are the personal challenges that the mountains pose to you? 

Human interaction with the mountain is an almost intimate experience. The rich palette of situations and emotions - from a sudden burst of happiness at the sight of enchanting vistas, to philosophical insights into man's insignificance in the face of almighty nature, to serious tests of will under extreme weather and terrain conditions - are all part of our connection with the spirit of the mountain.

Share your feeling among the high peaks, conveyed with the expressive means of photography.

Participants
The competition is open to all amateur and professional photographers.

Term and method of participation
Send up to 5 photos via the website form until 23:00 on 20 November 2015.

The images are uploaded directly by providing the full name of the author, email and phone number for correspondence, title of the work and in the description field - the place where it was taken.

Photographs submitted for entry must be relevant to the theme of the competition. Entrants must own all copyrights to the photographs they enter. The regulations allow that the submitted photographs have participated in other photo contests, but they must not have already been awarded.
If the footage does not fit the theme of the contest or is of poor quality, it may be removed by the administrator. All authors, by participating in the contest, agree that their footage will be shared and/or printed to advertise the Challenge Days", without any financial expectations to the contest organizers.

Technical requirements
Images must be at least 3000 pixels on the long side and in jpg format.

Prizes: provided by RAM Bikes, Photo Pavilion and Stenata shops.

1st prize: bike RAMBike
2nd prize: voucher from Fotopavilion worth 1,000 BGN
3rd prize: voucher from Fotopavilion worth 500 BGN

Audience Award a voucher from the "Stenata" store for Julbo products worth BGN 300.

The Jury
The images will be approved by a specialized jury of professional photographers specializing in extreme, landscape and portrait photography. The criteriathat the jury will take into account when choosing the winners are: adherence to the theme, composition, colour balance, emotional charge and artistic value of the shot.
