My name is Peter Vanev and I am 31 years old. I'm originally from Ruse, where I graduated from mathematics high school and then studied pedagogy at the University of Ruse. In 2009 I went to England and spent the last 7 years of my life there. I chased a career in the hospitality industry and reached a management position at Hilton Hotels. My other interests are scuba diving, I am a certified Divemaster with a PADI organisation, motorbiking and generally discovering climbing at the moment.

The Pacific Crest Trail or Pacific Crest Trail is located in the United States and stretches the length of three states, California, Oregon and Washington, from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. The trek is 2650 miles or 4240km long as it passes through Southern California(desert), Sierra Nevada(snowy mountains), Northern California(Cascades), Oregon(flat plateaus with dense forests and mosquitoes like sparrows), Washington(North Cascades or American Bulgaria). I am the first Bulgarian to make the trek. I started on March 27, 2017 and finished 5 months and 1 day later on August 28, 2017.
