On the first day of the 2015 Challenge Days festival, bouldering fans will have the opportunity to meet the legendary British climber live Ben Moon.
On 1 December at 14:00 in Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture a meeting with Ben Moon and Tihomir Dimitrov will take place in the form of a free discussion. Professional climbers and bouldering enthusiasts are invited to participate, and anyone interested can ask questions to the two professionals about techniques, problems, challenges and anything that excites a beginner or advanced climber. The event is free admission and registration is not required.
Ben Moon is one of the athletes who made history and developed sport climbing not only on the island, but worldwide. He was the first climber to successfully complete an 8C+ route (later categorised as 9A), has bouldered problems all over the world and has had a glittering career as a competitor alongside the other pioneer of sport climbing Jerry Moffatt. Later he created his own brand of climbing clothing and accessories Moon Climbing and created an innovative climbing wall to train strength, flexibility, agility and speed called the Moon Board.
