Land under the Hill - together we donate for the nature of Bulgaria

At the beginning of spring, we from the “Stenata” shops announced our support for the campaign “Land under the Wing” of the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, aimed at preserving the endangered species of Imperial Eagle, Saker Falcon and European Golden Eagle. Their natural habitats are taken over or destroyed by human conversion to cropland, and more recently threatened by renewable energy projects. 

We have committed to contributing a total of 10-12 acres of land to the rehoming of these species in the Sakar Mountains by the end of November by allocating and donating 1% of sales from several of our leading brand partners Boreal, Buff, Deuter, Julbo and Ortovox to the campaign. All five brands have global social responsibility programs, and with this initiative they are also part of the effort to protect Bulgarian nature.
