On the second day of the festival (2nd December) we will start the day with a cup of aromatic tea and talks and games about the future of Vitosha Mountain, together with Transparent Mountains. This is the most visited mountain in Bulgaria, which has recently been in the centre of public opinion. But what are the problems in managing the mountain - is wildlife under threat, is the high tourist flow leading to water pollution, is there conflict between hunters and tourists?
The questions are many and the answers are not simple, but they affect most of us. That's why Transparent Mountains and the civic group For Vitosha joined forces with Transformers and Smartfablab and held a workshop on making board games on environmental topics. The games are fun, educational and provocative. Come along on Wednesday to start the second day of the Days together, discussing one of our favourite mountains!
