In 1086 days, the Cycle4recycle expedition covered 49,000 km in the Americas. The team consists of two people. With a ridiculous budget of $1000, they started from the northernmost point connected by road in Alaska and reached the southernmost point in Argentina. From an expedition with a noble goal, this adventure became a way of life, thinking and feeling. The Cycle4recycle project is all about exploring the consumption of the earth's resources and turning them into piles of garbage, as well as promoting the bicycle as the most convenient and environmentally friendly transport for the city.

Cycling is a different kind of adventure. It's the best way to confront your pretensions and whims, to learn and re-educate yourself. The surest way to appreciate the simple things in life and learn gratitude. You learn how to take care of yourself and survive. You understand that when the going gets tough you just have to keep going, against the wind if you will.

In so many days, all kinds of thoughts can pass through the mind of a person who has begun to rediscover the meaning of the word “freedom”. But the most important and dearest of them is “The world is wonderful, the people are good, and the sun is gently warm wherever you are!”
