Theodore Kisimov will talk about the latest research on the Turkish chasms in which he has participated. One of them is the Panargyozyu Abyss, which he explored in 2016. To date, it is the highest cave on Earth - over 16 km long and with a positive vertical drop of 720m. Its actual entrance is the lowest point and exploration is done from the bottom up by climbing.

The second part of the story will be about the new Morja Gap (near the town of Anamur), where a vertical depth of over 900 m has been passed in two years. Located very close to the deepest Turkish abyss EGMA (-1429 m), which Theodore explored back in 2004. and the third deepest in Turkey - Chukurpinar (-1195 m).. In order to investigate Morja, Theodore joins the international expedition with participants from Turkey, Lebanon, Bulgaria and the USA. In 2017 a depth of about 600 m was reached in Morja. The Bulgarian team, consisting of Konstantin Stoilov, Dilyana Hristova and Teodor Kisimov explored new 150 m in depth of the cave and mapped over 220 m in depth again.

In addition to Mordzha, Bulgarian cavers are equipping, exploring and mapping another new chasm with the working name “The Ice” and an approximate vertical drop of 100 m as most of it is blocked with snow. They also stop at EGMA as their exciting caving adventure lasts 10 days.
